What Is A Parasite?

A parasite is a simple organism that lives on another animal or person (the host).

It feeds off the host, often causing illness and damaged effects to the host.

It is estimated that millions of people in the UK are infected with parasites which fall into two categories  worms and protozoans.

It is also estimated that a very large percentage of both UK and US water supplies are contaminated with protozoans that can cause infections in humans leading do diarrhoea and vomiting.

If you have a pet, it’s commonplace for you to take your pet for regular checks and to give them worming medications and so on if they are infected with a parasite.

In some parts of the world, children are regularly checked for parasites and this is standard practice.

But in the UK and US, parasite checks don’t take place unless you fall ill.

Natural Parasite Treatments

Kill-Your-Parasites-Naturally

There are a number of herbs that are a parasites worst enemy but that are safe for human consumption that could help to rid your body of any lurking nasties.

Parasites don’t directly kill a human they deplete the body of essential nutrients and strip you of the goodness ingested from healthy foods.

This can lead to organ problems and in the most severe cases, organ failure.

More often than not however, less severe symptoms may be noticed such as headaches, flatulence, constipation or diarrhoea, anaemia and fatigue, which can sometimes be down to a parasite infection.

The Apple Diet is one form of natural parasite cure that is quite popular.

It’s a simple 7 day diet plan that helps to get started with parasite detox and is actually quite good to just detox in general.

Diabetics should take care however as apples contain high sugar levels in large quantities you should always check with your doctor before trying any new diets.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also not try this diet and should consult their doctor for advice on parasites and detoxing while pregnant.

The Apple Diet for Parasite Detox

Apple-Diet-How-to-do-a-Parasite-Cleanse

The first few days of this diet are spent by cleansing the body, meaning you will be cutting out meat and dairy and generally anything unhealthy.

You will be able to eat as many organic apples and drink as much pure organic apple juice as you can take.

Also drinking plenty of water, but you can buy purified water to ensure there’s no parasitic contamination!

On day four you should start taking garlic capsules, which is something that most parasites despise.

At the same time you should also start eating papaya fruit or drinking the juice, again ensure it’s organic.

Also incorporate 2-3 cups of Senna or peppermint herbal tea each day.

Something else that helps is to eat pumpkins seeds with a tablespoon measure of castor oil or olive oil.

Continue taking all of these herbal remedies for the last 3 days of the 7 but also for the final 3 days eat lots of garlic and onions, quinoa and 1-2 green salads each day.

It is very important that you drink lots and lots of water as this helps to flush parasites and toxins from the body.

Flushing toxins out of the body also helps to improve the body’s immune function, which increase the body’s ability to rid itself of toxins.
